Introduction

Graphic design is a collaborative process between a client and a designer. Its purpose is to communicate a specific message to a particular target audience. The term “graphic design” can also refer to a range of artistic disciplines focused on visual communication and presentation. Graphic design uses various methods to combine words, symbols and images in order to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. A graphic designer may use typography, visual arts and page-layout techniques to create the final product. Graphic design often refers to both processes: creating the message and creating the finished product.
